Juan has devoted his 30-year career to law enforcement, with extensive experience in high-impact transnational investigations, including child protection and human trafficking. His roles have also spanned prosecution, training, and serving as Counsel to the NSW State Coroner.
Juan has served in the Australian Army and with various Australian State and Federal Police forces, INTERPOL, and UNPOL. His international deployments include missions for the United Nations, the AFP, and other multilateral capacity-building and peacekeeping operations.
Juan is a capacity-building consultant for law enforcement, NGOs, and private organisations, specialising in crisis management, leadership, and instructor development. He focuses on ethics, diversity, inclusion, and resilience, contributing to curriculum and policy development to support organisational change.
His current and previous research is centred on providing actionable principles for leaders in transformational and adaptive leadership and navigating the complexities of diversity and inclusion in a transnational setting.
Recent roles include leading INTERPOL in ASEAN with Project SUNBIRD, focusing on border management operations and leadership for women in law enforcement. Now, as a private consultant, he is currently working with INTERPOL as the lead in the design and delivery of its first senior leadership course aimed at women in senior law enforcement roles.
Juan is a member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and is active in both the DEI and Mental Wellbeing committees.

Robert is a seasoned senior consultant with 18 years of experience in law enforcement, specialising in leadership, training, and crisis management. As a former Detective with the New South Wales Police Force (NSWPF), Robert led complex investigations into high-stakes crimes such as homicide, armed robbery, cybercrime, and money laundering.
A passionate advocate for professional development, Robert has been deeply involved in training the next generation of law enforcement leaders. He delivers presentations on advanced investigative techniques for senior police officers transitioning into investigative roles and financial and other professionals at AUSTRAC on leading units that are required to rapidly respond to combat money laundering via cryptocurrency.
Robert’s leadership in training, investigative response, and crisis management continues to shape the future of leaders in law enforcement and civilian professional roles.
